Crazy few weeks

Things have been so crazy around here I seriously wonder how I make it through the days lately. I've seemed to have fallen into a rut and I can't find my way out of it. I really hope to catch up on a ton of stuff this weekend and get some cleaning done too. Here's a few pics from the past couple of weeks...I say that because I haven't loaded any pics from the past week at all. It's all relative though :)

Who doesn't love cupcakes? This boy will devour them and make a huge mess at the same time. We try to get together with my dad and mom every weekend for dinner and this was at their house not too long ago. The kids absolutely love to go over there so we try to do it as much as possible.

Honestly these past couple of weeks have been a battle with these two. They spent last weekend at my parents so I got a bit of a break then but otherwise it's been trying. My nerves are shot right now and it takes nothing to get me to crack. There have been days when they only time I can get a picture while they are behaving and not in time out is when they are in bed. There's also been early bedtimes alot lately..I've learned that those aren't so bad though :)

Allie loves this fridge toy. I have a ton coming up about her..she's started scooting and cruising up a storm. Once I can get a video loaded you'll see her. I'm going to try and get all that done in the next couple of days. She's been my light these past few weeks. There are times I feel horrible complaining because I know so many others have it much worse than I do and really I am blessed but when you're in the moment and things are crazy it can be hard to remember that. I hope you all have a great Friday!!...i'm going to try to just chill out and breathe!

I know what you mean about getting in a rut, I feel like I am just now getting out of one that lasted for about 6 months after Jackson was born. I hope you get out of yours soon! I love the green mustache pic btw.

The fridge toys are the BEST! Were running out of room between the dj, farm and letters and numbers, lol. I need a magnet wall! :o) I hope you have a great stress-free weekend (what are those again?) :o)

Oh, yeah, breathing is good, never underestimate breathing. I woke up with terrible allergies this morning, in my uncleaned house and as I stumbled into the livingroom I stepped on the half full yogurt container, left by my daughter in the middle of the floor. Her explanation was, "Daddy said put it down and go to sleep." Apparently she woke up at 1:30am and she knew not to wake me, smart girl! She went for her father, "Daddy, I'm hungry, my tummy hurts, I'm so hungry." He gets up and gives her a yogurt, she starts eating it, slowly, he sits on the couch, putts the TV on, and falls asleep, she takes the remote, puts Noggin on and she is in business! Her father wakes up, realizes he just got punked, tells her to put down the yogurt and go to bed. She does exactly what he said, in fact she did exactly what he said the whole time. She is only 4, he is 40, she can manipulate him to do anything. Drives me up the wall!!!!!! Sorry for going off on your comment box. Just wanted to tell you I kinda know how you feel.

Hi Stephanie! I was on Julie's blog and she mentioned she had given you a makeover, so I thought I'd pop over and see her work. She does such a nice job, doesn't she?

It's nice to meet you! Your children are adorable.

Have a lovely weekend.

You poor thing! You husband needs to give you a night out. (where either he watches the kids or calls a babysitter.) My boys are 4 and 2 (almost 5 and 3). Good golly, there are trying days. It seems like some days their entire purpose for the day is to fight with each other. Then other days, their sole purpose is to get in trouble together. (Think embossing powder and stamping inks poured into a humidifier.)

Hopefully your kiddos will get it out of their systems and give you a couple peaceful days.

Off topic: You were wondering what I used to edit my pictures. On my blog pictures, I usually don't do a whole lot of editing, but I use Photoshop Elements for my editing. I usually run auto contrast on my photos. I also have a very dark older house, so I often have to fiddle with toning down the noise in my pictures. I'm a total newbie to Elements, so most of my edits are simple and quick. I'm planning on buying the full version of Photoshop in June for my birthday.

Hope you have great stress-free week! :)
