Today's the day..

It's finally here. After much ado about nothing(although David wouldn't say that)the day has arrived. It's snip snip day for David. That's right we've figured out that the Lord above doesn't always necessarily agree with us when it comes to our ideas about more children so we've decided to take it into our own hands. After today we will be sure! Yes no more guessing it's the big V...it's time for the vasectomy for David bless his heart. I mean really it's the least he can do right...I've carried and birthed four children for him so why not...what's a 20 minute procedure. He is terribly nervous and I need not say that he is a complete wimp. He can not handle pain AT ALL...the man will stub his toe and fall to the floor cussing. Maybe that's just a man for ya,huh? I do feel bad for him though because he is scared so of course I'll do my job and I'll be there by his side and baby him all weekend long. Thankfully both my moms will be here. My stepmom will be taking the two older boys to her house tonight to spend the night and my mom will be here with me for Caleb and Allie...although Caleb is the only one that will have anything to do with her. At least I won't be by myself with all four(I mean 5)children.

So this afternoon that's where we'll be...he believes he is having his manhood taken away..he's really a funny character. We all say he missed his true calling as a comedian because I swear it's amazing where he pulls things out of. I'll let you know how it goes and get ready I have the cutest post for this afternoon. I'm going to make you wait because, well, because I can :) but it's worth it and it's just adorable!

Happy Friday everyone(well everyone except for David that is) :)

LOL, at first I thought you were talking about haircuts!!!

Let me tell ya, we had total peace about my hubby getting the "V" after our last one. My husband was really nervous at first, but once you're there, you can't do much about it..lol. He was laid out all weekend w/ his ice pack, but other than that, it turned out fine. LOL, my husband was trying to be all macho AT FIRST. He said, "Make sure you make my appointment on a Friday so that I can go mountain bike riding on Saturday!!!" LOLOLOLOL!! I reminded him of that comment he made while he was sitting there with ice on him!!

The good thing is is that since you're hubby will be in one spot all weekend, he won't be able to add to the chaos!!

Can't wait for your post, "post surgery!!!"

OMGosh, that sounds exactly like my husband. The toe, losing his manhood, ect. Men are all alike I am finding out more and more. Good luck with the snippy/snap! Recovery is a breeze...so I have been told. LOL

I have several friends who have had "V" babies, so you may want to encourage him to go back for that final checkup to make sure it worked!

Did you show him the pic of those scissors? LOL

I hope he heals nicely! He'll enjoy it when he doesn't have to wear a helmet in the bedroom anymore! LOL

In the next four years if we decide to not have any more kids B is going to do the "V". He's all for it. Thank goodness! I'm not a fan of another surgery. He will heel quick and you won't have to worry about getting pregnant after the coast is clear, lol.

Hope all goes well! Ryan doesn't have to worry about that now that I have had my women parts taken out. Just doesn't sound fair does it?! I carried and birthed, years of cramps and bleeding and then had my uterus taken! I'm not bitter :)!! Hope he feels better soon and y'all have a good weekend!
