It's been tough!

This past week and for a while before that things have been tough around here. It's been one thing after another..constant struggles and of course Allie hasn't slept well in over a month. I was up from 2 until 5 last night and up again at 7 this morning but as soon as I walked into the bedroom and saw this it just makes everything all better. This is how I am greeted EVERY morning and honestly everytime she wakes up. Each time I walk in to get her out of her crib and she hears my voice she breaks out in the biggest grin I have ever seen. I can't get enough of it! On another note..I took her back to the doctor yesterday because she was still running a low grade fever and had horrible diarrhea. They said that her ear was better and the acute infection was gone and they thought she had a virus of somesort. Of course they gave me another name of a medicine to use in order to help stop the diarrhea. I swear it's always something...they perscribe a medicine for everything. Of course we didn't get it and won't unless we absolutely need to. However on a positive note we stopped the antibiotic yesterday since her infection was gone..I'm not doing that any longer than I have to and now it's sit back, wait and pray that we see NO spots!

Bless your heart!! Look at that sweet face. I know it has got to be so hard to be up all hours of the night like that.

I do hope it get's better and you can get some much needed sleep. I bet your like a walking zombie.

Love the picture of your precious girl.

What a doll! Sorry to hear that she's still sick. I think doctors definitely overprescribe meds. It's their idea of an "easy" fix sometimes. And you have to thank all the drug reps that stop by for the incentives to drug up the patients.

I hope she feels better soon. And getting a smile from your kid is always the greatest thing!

Your daughter is so cute! I hope when I have my new little one in a few weeks that I can have as good of an attitude as she does, sleepless or no!

She is so cute! I am sorry it has taken me so long to answer you. We use the hylands honey cough syrup, hylands sleep forte tablets and their teething tablets. We also use echinacea. I buy my hair color there too. They are really helpful there and can answer your questions. Hope that helps.

I don't think people realize how hard it is when you have multiple kids. It is just one sick kid after another. Last year we had 15 weeks of sickness in a row. We even quit church for a short time because every time we went Jack would get sick. I can so sympathize with you. Praying for you because I know how tough it is.
