And the culprit is...

Do your EARS hang low? Do they wobble to and fro? Can you tie them in a knot? Can you tie them in a bow? Can you throw them over your shoulder like a continental soldier? Do your EARS hang low?

Yep...you heard me right...it's the EARS..the left one to be exact.

So we are on antibiotics..which in our house is not a good thing! I will have to try and put a post together on that for tomorrow.

Please say a prayer for Allie..that she can get through this antibiotic round with no ill effects and her ears will improve with this treatment.

I am so glad there is a reason to the not sleeping! I should have thought of mentioning to you that both of my little ones were prone to ear infections with no signs or symptoms other than not sleeping. So much for being a good bloggy friend, huh?!

I hope all returns to what is normal at your house soon:) When you have kids, normal is what you make it, right?!

I will be praying for that precious little one. About the book: the library usually has tons of helpful things for teaching kids. Also, Sams or Costco often has a first year curriculum book with colored pictures and things that he might enjoy doing too.

At least you have a reason now.. I will be thinking about her.

Did she have any symptoms at all? It makes me wonder if that's Leala's problem. The last time she had an ear infection, she had a fever though.. We'll see, I guess.

You know, now that I think about it, every time Brendan wouldn't sleep when he was that age, it was beacuse of an ear infection. He would be fine during the day and then be soo yucky at night. I am sorry I didn't think of it when you were having so much trouble. Now that you know, I hope she gets better soon. Thinking of you and praying for her. ~Stacey

poor baby....and poor you...sorry things suck so bad right now...seems like we are living the same life miles away! my husband woke up from his surgery and asked his doctor (before even leaving the OR) if he could go to his meeting in Chicago next week....so I understand husbands that won't slow down....his doctor must have said to me 15 times that he HAS to take it easy...no trips any where for at least two weeks...in fact he gave orders that he has to be in bed for two weeks with his foot elevated just because he knows he won't stay still long enought to get healthy! but i guess we should feel lucky to have such hard working husbands! hope things get better soon....i was an audiologist in my former life, so if you have any questions about ear infections/tubes etc etc..fire away! liz

Poor little sugar bugger! I hope her little ear get's cleared up soon. Lord knows go get some yogurt so she won't have a reaction "down there" from the meds. Cheers to a good night sleep very soon.
