I HEART Faces-Excitement

I HEART Faces is a photography website that holds weekly contests for what we love best...the faces of those we adore! This weeks category is excitement.

This is a picture of Caleb one night when we were playing with some stickers and the kids just went crazy with the sticker sheet. I love the expression on his face....he looks so incredibly happy!

Head over to I HEART Faces and join in on the fun!

Happy Birthday Jacob

I just can't believe that it's been 6 years today since I first laid eyes on this little one. He has changed my life for the better in so many ways. What a different person I became after he came into my life. It's bittersweet sitting back and looking at some of his baby pictures...I'd give anything to back and relive those days over again when he was just born and the first year of his life. I miss those days when he was a tiny baby..wish they lasted longer. For now..he's still a momma's boy although he tries to prove me wrong on a daily basis. I can tell every single morning though as he gets out of the car and has to kiss me goodbye just how much he still needs and wants me though. I'll post about our day today in the next couple of days as I get the pictures loaded onto my computer.

Happy Birthday to my 6 year old!

Friday Photo Flashback

It's Friday and that means it's Friday Photo Flashback. Alicia over at More Than Words started this meme for all of us that have older pictures to share that we've scanned into our computers.

This is my Jacob 5 years 364 days ago on the day he was born. Tomorrow is his 6th birthday so I had to share one of his pictures for my flashback today.

Come back tomorrow to see his birthday post.

Now head over to Alicia's and join in on the Flashback fun!

Stickers

Sometimes the smallest things can entertain my kids. If only it was like this on a daily basis. A free sheet of stickers that came in the mail provided hours of fun for the kids one night.

Allie was sick during this time and bless her heart she needed something to get her mind off of the constant nose wiping and medicine giving. For a short while she was able to enjoy herself and forget that she felt rotten even if her nose still looked that way.

Even the oldest had to join in the fun. Jacob escaped to his room to color.
