I HEART Faces - Winter Wonderland

I HEART Faces is a website that holds themed weekly contests for professional and amateur photographers. It's been forever since I've participated but when I saw that this weeks theme was Winter Wonderland I had to join in.

This is Caleb during our snow storm last week - after we got 6 inches of powdery snow we ended up with sleet and freezing rain which left about 1/4 inch of ice on top of all that snow. Caleb enjoyed just standing around and eating the ice!

I Heart Faces - Over Your Head

I'm excited to participate in I Heart Faces again this week!!!! The past few weeks have been about pictures of teenagers and those taken by teens so I didn't have anything to submit. This morning my mind was totally blank as far as posting topics because I SO not ready for this week to begin. I feel like we didn't even have much of a weekend and my brain is not working this morning - therefore I'm happy they helped me out with a picture theme.

This is a picture I took of Allie last summer in the pool. I've always loved when David threw her up in the air while we in the pool and I was able to capture a few that were cute that day. She was giggling the entire time!!! I wish we could go back to those days when she was so small - I miss them so much!

This is a picture I took of Allie when she was about 3.5 months old. I'd give just about anything to go back to her baby days again-how I miss them!!!!

This is Jacob on the slip n slide this year. His face makes a wide range of faces when he's playing on the slide and it's hilarious to click away. I love his snaggletooth face in this picture too!!!

I HEART Faces is a photography website that features novices like you and me along with professionals in weekly contests. I love entering these and missed it so much while my internet was down-I may never win but it's so fun to see all the other wonderful work out there! This weeks them is Yellow-the rule is that you picture has to have yellow in it and a face and that's it-you go from there.

This picture is from last winter and I was just shooting some pics of Allie one day while she was laying on the floor playing with my phone. I love her sweet little face and that little tongue sticking out is to die for!!!!

It's been such a long time since I've done I HEART Faces so I'm excited to jump back in. I HEART Faces is a photography website that has weekly contests based on a weekly theme. This weeks theme is Celebrate Mom.

This is a picture that was taken recently on Easter Sunday. It's a little tough to find a picture of me with the kids because 99% of the time I am the one taking the pictures. I love Allie's face in this picture and just the fact that it's she and I :)

I HEART Faces-Bundled Up!!!!!!

I HEART Faces is a photography website that holds weekly contests for those pictures that we love the most. This weeks theme is "Bundled Up" and it's all about the cold weather we're all ready to leave behind for the year.

This is from the only good snow we got this year-we got about 4 inches and that is a lot of snow for SC!!!!!! Caleb had a blast in it and all he cared about was building him a Frosty!

Allie wasn't a huge fan of the snow but she enjoyed tasting it for a while.

It's not professional quality by any means and I didn't even take it-my mom did in the delivery room but it will always stick out in my mind!!!

Caleb had just been born and David was of course beaming. He was standing right at the warming table looking over him admiring his new pride and joy.

Until.........Yep that's right David had his face right down there glaring at his beautiful son as he began peeing right in his face!!!! I think he got the shock of a lifetime!

I haven't participated in an I HEART Faces challenge in quite a while now but I saw someone else's entry this morning and decided to jump back in. That's what this week is about after all-jumping back in with both feet forward so here I go.

This is Hands on Fun week at I HEART Faces and I thought of this picture I took of Allie recently. I had just laid Caleb down for a nap so I had a few minutes of one on one time with Allie before her naptime. I love that time of day when it's just she and I. I gave her a miniature sugar cookie and she just laid and looked at it in her hands for the longest time before she actually took a bite of it.
