I can't believe it. It's here!!!! I have pink walls in my house. YIPPEE Allie finally has her own room and that room has the long awaited pink walls. It took me a while to pick the actual color that I wanted but I am so happy with the outcome. It isn't decorated yet but her bed is in there and it's a work in progress...now we just have to finish it. I find myself walking by and standing in awe that we actually have a pink room in our house. It's just amazing to me!
Last night I didn't sleep well at all...it was the first night since she was born that she didn't sleep in our room. Actually it was the first night in 35 months that we haven't had a child in our room...scary,huh? I went to bed last night and actually read with the light on....it was surreal! She slept until 5 before she woke up and came in our room...it was awfully comfy after she was in there with us again. It's going to take some getting used to with her being gone...next step is to get her to go to sleep on her own without being rocked and fed...that'll come with time.
For the time begin....WE HAVE A PINK ROOM!

I LOVE the pink!!! Wow, a long awaited night...or not. :) Enjoy her!
Do you co sleep? We co sleep with alex and she sleeps in her bed but comes crawling into our bedroom some mornings. I love co sleeping with her and having her in our bed! Love her room, alex also has a very pink room mixed with green! I need to take some pictures of it once I get it finished! everything is always a work in progress!
Aww how cute!! I love it! I still breastfeed for naps and bedtime.. and Leala has been coming to our bed during the night to eat.. awful, I know... but we have started to refuse it to her (she is almost 2.. well in February she'll be 2) and as of right now, she hasn't ate from me since 9:20 last night. It feels good to get her moving in the right direction. Next will be cutting out naptime and bedtime feedings, but I'm glad to see it's literally only twice a day now.
I LOVE it!! Aren't girls fun!? :) Alexa has (one wall) in her room almost that same color, so pretty. I hear you on the getting used to no baby in the room, they sleep way better than you the first few nights. :)
Wow! That's a PINK room! :)
Sleep habits are the hardest to change, I think. But do what's best for you guys because they're only young once. :)
My goodness Steph- she looks just like you! :)

What a perfect room for a little lady!
What a lucky girl! Jordyn is still sleeping in her pack-n-play in a storage room. We're such awful parents. :) There will be a day that she figures out how to climb out. Then we'll have to get to creating a room for her. Can you believe how grown up our girls are getting?
LOVING the pink...you know that i feel the same way....been waiting for that pink room FOREVER....
