There is nothing that Allie loves more than a phone. She absolutely loves to play with them....when she plays with her daddy's he can lock his so it's not a problem. During the day however mine is the only choice she has and she knows how to unlock it which means many unplanned phone calls. She's called many people many times...funny how numbers you think would never even be a number actually get you to someone. This girl has started wanting to chat already...I'm scared what she'll be like at 14 if she's already occupying the phone at 1.
This is the first post I've done using the new editor.
Heather told me about it and I have to admit I'm a bit confused by it! She is amazed by it and I do like the way it uploads better but I guess I just need to get alittle more accustomed to it...maybe they'll make a tutorial for it for dummies like me :)
Oh the last one just cracked me up, its like she is reading the caller id to see what calls she missed! Too cute :) Yes, my 9 year old is convinced he needs a phone and what I find so hilarious is that he doesn't even like talking on the phone! Hmmm, but maybe he can call Allie? *wink*

I love that first picture...it's so funny! Jackson is the same way about cell phones...he has a couple of his own toys ones but he always likes ours better!
ReplyDeleteMy kids were always fascinated by phones. In fact, that was their favorite toy for a long time, along with the TV remote!
ReplyDeleteBoth of my kiddos LOVE LOVE LOVE phones! But they have to be REAL ones, even if you give them an old cell phone that is no longer activated, the know and they wont play with it!

I love the pictures! Leala is all about phones to... But she has her own little toy ones.. Kevin lets her have his (locked of course) sometimes when nothing else will work.. lol..

ReplyDeleteThat is so funny! She really looks like she knows what she is doing with that phone! If you have a Verizon Wireless store or booth, ask them if they have any old display/demo phones. They look just like real phones, but they are fake - for display purposes. They usually have a bag of them. All the young kids (including my boys) like to get them and use them as toys.

ReplyDeleteZoe loves my phone also. When I first got it, she showed me how to take a picture with it. (The neighbor girl had the same phone & had shown Zoe how to take pics.)Pretty bad when a 5 year old knows more about electronics than her mother!
